Max was a beautiful little turtle the size of a ten cents piece. I took him home and he had a 40 l tank, huge for just him. After filling up his new home with dens and rocks and things that may entertain him. I realized things don’t make up for living company even for them. So I got him 4 feeder fish.

Little did I know that I just opened up a new world for Max and me. The had babies and needed to be separated or the adults would feed on them. Not the turtle but the adult feeder fish.

I had to split the tank to give those babies a chance. So much care went into all this..Come back for more . To be continued
